Is your website ready?
We currently receive
100 plus award submissions weekly. Please be sure your site is ready
before applying.
It
may take some
time before all the sites can be reviewed. All sites submited to
us are visited...Please be patient.
The Criteria:
Your site must be
a virtual domain. (http://www.yourdomain.com)
(Sites hosted by free services come and go in some cases faster
than they can be reviewed.)
Your web site must have an english
version. (We must be able the read the content.)
Multiple submissions must be made separately.
(This helps speed up our process.)
The award must be linked back.
If your not going to link the award back, don't apply. It's that
simple.
As you may have
noticed this is a freelance design site not an award site. If we
take to time to evaluate your site and you receive an award, the
least you can do is link the award back to Visual Xtreme. We have
noticed that more 60% of the award winners failed to post the award.
Which we consider a total waste of our time, and a complete lack
of consideration.
If we visit your
site in the future and can't find the award
graphic on your site, we will remove your site from the winners
pages and add it to the Removal List.
We're considering
making this list permanent, meaning once you make the list, your
site will remain there whether the problem is corrected on not.
What is
not acceptable?
A site containing pornography, foul language, content unsuitable
for children.
Java and javascript that
crashes our browser.
Broken images and links
that do not work properly.
Bandwidth stealing.
Pages that do not give proper
credit where credit is do.
Sites made with someone's
else's graphic themes. (You'll need to do the work yourself)
Midi files that can't be
stopped.
A jumble of unrelated content.
Poor color scheme
Pop up windows all over
the place.
Linking the award
back to VisualXtreme.com is required. Read
on to find the keyword and instructions. On the submission form
where it asks if have you read the criteria add the word Sure.
Note the correct response would not be yes, including yes tells
me you have not read this page. If your submitting your site via
e-mail, add the words Sure or Sure I did on the subject
line.
If your site is chosen
a winner you will be notified by e-mail. Non winning sites will
not be notified and may resubmit after 90 days. Significant improvements
should be made prior to re-submitting a site.
